Job Description

Job Purpose:nTo safely and efficiently operate a reach truck within the IKEA warehouse, ensuring the accurate movement, storage, and retrieval of goods in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:nOperate reach trucks to move pallets and products to designated storage locations.nLoad and unload goods from delivery vehicles and internal transfers.nEnsure accurate stock placement and inventory control using warehouse management systems.nConduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or safety concerns.nMaintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment.nAssist with general warehouse duties as required, including picking, packing, and stock replenishment.nFollow all health and safety regulations and IKEA operational standards.nCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth work flow.nQualifications & Experience:nValid Reach Truck license (RTITB or equivalent).nPrevious experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.nFamiliarity with warehouse management systems and hand held scanners is an advantage.nGood understanding of health and safety practices.nAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.nSkills & Attributes:nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.nReliable, punctual, and self-motivated.nGood communication and teamwork skills.nPhysically fit and able to lift and move heavy items when required.nFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities.nBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
