Trust Payments has an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our Trust Retail team.

Location: Hybrid - Bournemouth, United Kingdom (3 days at office)

Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhance existing retail solutions
• Build and maintain Java microservices and Android applications
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate in agile processes and daily stand-ups
• Troubleshoot issues across local and cloud environments
• Support deployments and maintain technical documentation

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years industry exposure with full-stack development experience in Java and Android
• Database experience with MySQL or similar technologies
• Unit testing expertise for web services and mobile applications
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Excellent documentation and technical reading abilities
• AWS experience
• Knowledge of REST APIs, HTTPS, RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with Jira, GitLab, and Git workflows
• Familiarity with Grails framework
