Legal Counsel – Global Legal Team - Belfast (Remote)

Conekt Legal is working with a leading global organisation seeking to appoint a talented Legal Counsel to join its dynamic international legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a truly global business, supporting a wide range of commercial activities across multiple regions and sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial solicitor to move into a fast growing global team. The client is also flexible to consider strong corporate and/or banking solicitors who might want to make a move in-house and learn commercial law.

In this role, you will gain exposure to a broad range of commercial contracts, including:

• Media, advertising agreements and sponsorship agreements
• Technology and licensing contracts
• Supplier and distribution agreements
• Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
• General commercial terms and frameworks

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, advising on day to day contractual matters and supporting strategic projects. The role offers the chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced, international environment where you will be encouraged to take ownership, provide pragmatic legal advice, and contribute to the success of a collaborative and forward-thinking legal function.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Solicitor - 2 + years experience PQE
• PQE will have been gained either in a leading commercial law firm or in-house and will have either a commercial law (contracts), banking and/or corporate background
• Very commercial with the ability to advise a business about risks in a commercial way
• Collaborative approach and able to work well as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
