Job Title: Manufacturing Administrator

Location: Rochdale

Rate of Pay: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am - 2:00pm

Contract Type: Ongoing, Permanent

Overview

On behalf of our client based in Rochdale, we are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Administrator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with suppliers and customers
• Manage and update Excel spreadsheets
• Procure materials required for production
• Oversee stock replenishment and perform light warehouse duties when necessary
• Match and process invoices using the company's in-house systems
• Support the Production Manager with administrative tasks (e.g., booking vehicle MOTs, scheduling machine servicing)
• Maintain weekly administrative reports and spreadsheets
• Perform additional administrative duties as requested by the Office Manager

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar administrative role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing environments is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills
• Immediate availability preferred
• A current and up-to-date CV
