Job Description

Central Employment are working with a fast growing Creative, Digital and Production agency, as they look to appoint a Social Media Strategist, based from there Tyne & Wear studio.

Key Responsibilities:

Track and analyse performance across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Produce clear reports that highlight what's working, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities are.nPartner with our creative and production teams to turn insights into actionable content strategies, providing data-driven hooks, ideas, and timing recommendations.nMonitor audience interactions across platforms, identifying opportunities to engage directly, respond to comments, and nurture active, loyal communitiesnDive deep into audience behaviours, demographics, and preferences. Translate this into strategies that grow viewership and long-term fan loyalty.nTrack competitors and industry benchmarks to keep our content strategy sharp and ahead of trends.nAdvise on content priorities, posting schedules, and platform focus — ensuring everything we produce is optimised for growth and revenue

Experience required

Proven experience in a social media analytics, strategy, or performance role.nPrevious experience in entertainment, media, gaming, or audience-driven digital brands.nStrong understanding of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, and their analytics ecosystems.nExperience producing reports and data visualisations that translate complex numbers into clear recommendations.nExcellent written communication skills, able to present insights to creative and leadership teams clearly and confidently.nStrong analytical mindset with the ability to think both strategically and creatively.nKnowledge of social media tools (native analytics platforms, etc.)
