About the Anthro JV:

Anthro JV is a long-term joint venture between VVB Engineering and Egis, formed to deliver complex MEPHFC systems for HS2’s Old Oak Common Station - HS2’s flagship London interchange and one of Europe’s most ambitious infrastructure builds. About the role:

As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you’ll be at the heart of project execution, responsible for safely, efficiently, and effectively delivering complex mechanical systems in alignment with cost, time, and quality targets. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Head of Sector to ensure world-class delivery that reflects the scale and ambition of HS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring quality and programme milestones are met
  • Coordinate with cross-discipline teams to maintain safety, compliance, and technical integrity
  • Collaborate with client representatives, consultants, and stakeholders to align delivery objectives
  • Support commercial management to maintain project margins and deliver value
  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, safety, and quality
  • Deputise for the Project Manager as required

Experience:

  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale mechanical engineering projects, ideally in rail, infrastructure, or MEP sectors
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Sound commercial understanding and ability to manage budgets and timelines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a high-stakes environment
