Job Description

We are looking for an experienced education consultant to join our team and provide expertise to students and families seeking guidance on academic opportunities abroad. As an education consultant, you will be responsible for:

1. Conducting consultations with students and parents to understand their academic goals, interests, budgets, and other considerations
2. Researching and evaluating study abroad programs, schools, universities, and other academic institutions around the world
3. Advising on best-fit options for students' desired subject areas, career paths, learning environments, and personal preferences
4. Guiding clients through the application and admissions processes for international schools, colleges, and universities
5. Helping students prepare application materials such as essays, recommendation letters, transcripts, and portfolios
6. Providing information on scholarships, financial aid, visas, travel, accommodations, and other practical aspects of studying internationally
7. Building strong relationships with admissions offices, overseas schools, alumni associations, and other relevant organizations
8. Staying up-to-date on trends and changes within international education systems

The ideal candidate will have:

1. 2+ years of experience in international student advising or admissions
2. In-depth knowledge of worldwide education systems, trends, and options
3. Strong research, communication, and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to connect with students and families from diverse backgrounds
5. Patience and commitment to finding the right fit for each student
6. Bachelor’s degree in education, international studies, or related field
