Position:
We're looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Communications Assistant to support customer communications for our savings products, working closely with both the Marketing and Savings teams - including those who speak directly with our customers every day. As part of a small, supportive team, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of marketing platforms and enjoy direct mentorship from our Head of Marketing. This is a brilliant opportunity to grow your skillset, make an impact, and shape your future in marketing from day one. We’re looking for someone with a curious mindset and a willingness to learn, rather than prior marketing experience. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised—especially when driving communications plans. They should be a clear and confident communicator and find it natural to build strong relationships.

Other information:
- Drive coordinated website product launches by liaising across internal teams and external comparison sites to ensure savings products are seamlessly deployed and accurately listed
- Promote products across our digital platforms, including htb.co.uk, social media and other relevant channels
- Support planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Develop and manage a proactive PR plan and schedule, ensuring regular activity while staying informed about market developments and responding to PR opportunities as they arise
- Develop and manage a content plan focused on thought leadership and educational content, ensuring consistent delivery across key channels including social media and web SEO. Collaborate with compliance to ensure all content is accurate and meets regulatory standards
- Craft and coordinate customer communications by managing and cleansing data, applying email best practices - including A/B testing and personalisation - and delivering creative, engaging messaging and design for transactional and promotional campaigns
- Drive performance reporting through Google Analytics, building monthly dashboards, and delivering insights while coordinating with third-party support for ongoing tracking and reporting optimisation
- Leverage customer and market insight by partnering with CX specialists and applying data-driven analysis to inform customer-centric marketing decisions
- Develop marketing materials including PDFs and brochures.
