An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a leading global investment firm based in London. What you will do:

  • Draft, review, and format NDAs, consultancy agreements, and contracts using templates and legal applications.
  • Manage digital systems for efficient storage and retrieval of legal documents.
  • Coordinate document execution by liaising with signatories across jurisdictions.
  • Compile clear responses to trading counterparty queries using multiple sources.
  • Support audits by reconciling physical and digital legal records and handling internal/external requests.
  • Oversee secure handling, storage, and distribution of legal documents, updating custody registers.
  • Manage postage and receipt of executed legal documents with accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain organised filing systems aligned with legal archiving standards.
  • Assist in editing PowerPoint decks and flowcharts for meetings and training.
  • Conduct legal research and maintain paralegal guidance materials.

What you will bring:

  • At least 2 year's experience as a Legal Admin with a background in the finance or legal industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP/Finance systems.
  • Skilled in building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for clear correspondence and professional responses.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.
  • Highly organised with strong time management to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in document management.
  • Proactive and adaptable, able to manage shifting priorities and urgent requests.
  • Paralegal experience within a legal team or law firm is a plus.
