Rock My Wedding is the UKs number one online bridal publication, offering inspiration, advice and resources for recently engaged couples. Were looking for an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our vibrant team. This newly created advertising role combines strategy, sales, and paid partnerships perfect for someone with proven experience in digital media sales and a passion for driving results. You will reach out to potential customers and articulate the benefits of Rock My Weddings sales packages, focusing on digital advertising across our platforms. Youll identify new revenue opportunities, sell bespoke advertising solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of high-performing paid campaigns from inception to completion, ensuring seamless delivery and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial growth by presenting and selling Rock My Weddings advertising solutions, effectively converting new business opportunities into long-term client partnerships.
  • Generate new business leads through the sale of on-site display ads, advertorials, social campaigns, and bespoke paid partnership packages.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales pipeline and advertising roadmap to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets, aligning closely with the Editorial Director on business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the partnerships team on the planning, management, and execution of larger, long-term paid campaigns to ensure consistent delivery and partner satisfaction.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign management, including technical setup, quality assurance, troubleshooting, tracking and ongoing optimisation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and agencies throughout paid campaign lifecycles, maintaining strong communication and ensuring high levels of service.
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity, campaign performance, and communications using the CRM system.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to internal stakeholders, using data-driven insights to inform campaign optimisation and support overall revenue growth.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in advertising and senior sales, particularly in publishing and digital media.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong track record of surpassing sales targets and growing advertising or partnership portfolios.
  • Proficiency in Google Ad Manager and CRM systems as well as familiarity with ad serving technology and performance tracking tools.
  • Proven track record in tracking campaigns in real-time, meeting KPIs, and ensuring continual optimisation.
  • A proactive mindset, capable of balancing strategic commercial thinking with hands-on execution.
