Consultant – Commercial & Corporate Banking


Location: London (Hybrid)

Level: Consultant

Salary: Up to £55,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We’re hiring for a high-impact role within a leading global consultancy that partners with major UK banks on large-scale transformation.

The Opportunity


As a Consultant in the Banking Strategy & Consulting team, you’ll collaborate with clients to modernise core operations, transform customer journeys, and embed future-ready business models. You’ll be delivering real change – from the boardroom to the frontline.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Project & Programme Delivery – Lead the planning and execution of digital and business change projects, including roadmap development, governance structures, and benefits realisation.
  • Client Engagement – Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across commercial and corporate banking, helping them tackle strategic priorities and regulatory demands.
  • Target Operating Model Design – Assess current state and shape future-state models to drive performance and customer outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration – Support and lead teams of consultants in a high-performance, inclusive culture.
  • Practice Growth – Contribute to internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and sector-specific thought leadership.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Prior experience in a consultancy or change-focused role within banking/financial services.
  • Hands-on delivery experience in commercial or corporate banking (e.g. lending, payments, customer journeys, operational excellence).
  • Solid knowledge of digital transformation, regulatory change, or operating model design.
  • Familiarity with project and programme management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
