Job Description:

As part of their strategy to become a best-practice and multi-award-winning global sourcing hub, the firm is looking to hire a passionate Logistics Procurement specialist to drive bottom-line savings and wider commercial value from complex deals.

As Logistics Supply Chain Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Utilize your logistics procurement expertise to execute seamless and integrated strategic sourcing processes.
  • Implement global, international, and national category plans using strategic sourcing tools in collaboration with internal partners.
  • Work with regional, international, and cross-cultural teams in executing sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for large-scale, high-value EMEA logistics categories, including oceanic, road, rail, air freight, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Leverage your Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) skills to manage leading 3PL and 4PL suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities for creativity and innovation in logistics sourcing projects.
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships to secure buy-in for sourcing initiatives.
  • Receive procurement training and development from the EMEA Logistics Procurement Director, with potential promotion to Logistics Sourcing Lead within 1-2 years.
  • Bring significant logistics procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management experience from a recognized FTSE 250 or Fortune 500 company.
  • Experience in global and low-cost country sourcing is preferred.
  • Possess multi-country negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Have excellent stakeholder influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Qualifications such as Degree, MCIPS, and Prince 2 are preferred but not essential.
