Risk Financial Services: Banking Financial - Manager

• Our Risk Line of Service helps clients to anticipate, understand, and transform how they manage risk to their business (e.g., financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic), and assists them in responding to risk events when they occur.
• Our Banking Financial Risk team supports clients in mitigating risk, responding to regulatory changes, navigating compliance, and ensuring continuity during crises. The team aims to significantly grow and scale its capabilities to become the market leader in these services.
• We are hiring Managers with knowledge and experience in prudential risk and/or banking regulation. We welcome candidates from consultancy backgrounds or those working in risk, finance, or treasury functions within banks.

About The Role

• Assist clients in managing credit, market, and treasury risks, and support transformations in operating models, risk booking, capital optimization, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with technology specialists to develop and enhance market-ready solutions.
• Engage with project teams and maintain regular contact with clients, including senior stakeholders.
• Analyze the impact of regulatory changes and help clients adapt to new regulations.
• Develop technology skills, including GenAI applications for risk and regulatory processes.
• Prepare regulatory analyses and reports.
• Support senior team members in marketing and sales activities.
• Build relationships internally and with clients, and participate in PwC’s Thought Leadership initiatives.

This Role Is For You If You Have

• Knowledge of investment banking, retail, or wholesale banking products.
• Experience in one or more of the following: credit risk management, traded risk, treasury risk, risk transformation projects, capital optimization, or regulatory capital/liquidity requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, and numerical skills.
• Good relationship management skills and problem-solving ability in complex environments.
