Our client, a leading international law firm with a fully integrated global finance platform, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its busy Finance team in London. The role will focus on aviation finance transactions, including secured and unsecured financings, refinancings, sale-and-leasebacks, operating and finance lease agreements, trading and maintenance arrangements, private-equity investments, and restructurings. You will collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s global network on cross-border matters involving airlines, lessors, lenders, and investors.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of PQE in a recognized finance practice, with proven experience in aviation finance and strong familiarity with LMA documentation. Exposure to general banking, real estate, structured debt finance, restructuring, or Islamic finance is advantageous. Candidates should possess excellent drafting and negotiation skills, commercial acumen, the ability to manage complex transactions, and a proactive, client-focused approach.
