Job Opportunity: Nursing Service Delivery Lead

Pulse’s Nursing Team is recruiting experienced Nursing Service Delivery Leads for a full-time role based in the Yorkshire area.

These roles involve working locally in Yorkshire, providing nursing delivery services for a Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research Project. To succeed, candidates must have experience in a similar role and be proficient in phlebotomy.

This is an established programme seeking new candidates as it advances into its next phase.

Position Details:

• Hours: 2-3 days per week, shift patterns vary

Essential Skills:

• Experienced nurse with leadership experience in a similar environment
• Proof of phlebotomy skills, as overseeing these services is required

We are seeking nurses available to work at least 2-3 days per week in a 7-day service. Working hours are long, from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm on weekdays, with Sunday hours from 10.30 am to 5 pm.

The position begins in June 2024, with site locations including York, Ryedale, and Harrogate. The sites are mobile and rotate every 4-5 weeks, so driving and flexibility to work at different sites are advantageous.

The pay rate is up to £33 per hour (umbrella rate), with enhanced rates for weekend work. Positions are available now.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership to Healthcare Support Workers
• Ensure quality care, clinical governance, and compliance targets are met, maintaining safety and seamless service delivery
• Support staff attendance and scheduling, including providing extra support during HSW breaks
• Report directly to the Chief Nurse
• Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues

Essential Requirements:

• Must be an experienced nurse
• Willing to fully register with our agency
