Job Title: IKEA Food Manager

IKEA Croydon is seeking a passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join our management team. In IKEA, this role is called an IKEA Food Manager.

About the Role

As a Food Manager, you will oversee daily operations, maintain high food standards, and lead a talented kitchen team and management staff. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a dedication to exceptional service.

What We Offer

  • Start date: June 2025
  • Salary: £52,500 per annum, based on experience and competence
  • Hours: 39 hours/week, 5 days, including 2 weekends per month

Candidate Requirements

  • Passion for food and customer service, with experience in high-volume, commercial food environments
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop teams
  • Business-minded, customer-focused, and capable of making commercial decisions
  • Structured, influential, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure food safety, stock management, quality, and waste minimization
  2. Drive sales and profitability through commercial opportunities and customer feedback
  3. Plan and execute commercial activities to increase sales
  4. Manage product range presentation to inspire visitors
  5. Build and develop a skilled, motivated team, fostering talent and succession planning
