Job Title:           Healthcare Assistant

Location:          London Clinics

Hours:               Part Time, Monday – Friday and Saturdays

Salary:               £30,000 FTE + Monthly Bonuses (pro-rata)

Hours:               8 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime and extra shifts.

Possibility of transitioning to a full-time role depending on future needs

Start Date:      ASAP

The Role:

We now have a position available for a HCA's with local anaesthetic theatre experience to join our team to assist the Consultant Dermatologists and Surgeons in clinic.

The role involves working across our three London Clinics; Oxford Circus, Harley Street and Moorgate as required.


Main Duties will include

  • Support the clinicians in delivery of first class outpatient care (chaperoning and theatre work)
  • Supporting Doctors with minor procedures and providing screening services autonomously to patients
  • Ensure the theatre area is cleaned in accordance with infection control policies
  • Ensuring that the theatre consumables are well stocked and ready for use
  • Liaison with the administrative team to prepare for Consultant clinic lists and provide relevant information post list
  • General medical administration incl. histopathology forms, results etc


Person Specification

  • Previous outpatient experience
  • Minor Operations experience - 2 year required, skin surgery preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical software (training provided where needed).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
