The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Social Media Manager to join their highly skilled team. In this role, you will report to the Senior Social Media Manager and take a leading role in managing both client and agency social channels.
You’ll work across multiple accounts, contributing to content strategy, execution, and performance tracking. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams to promote products and merchandise and play a key role in building the agency’s own brand presence online.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable attending live events and shoots to capture social-first content and provide real-time race weekend coverage from the London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of social media accounts across various platforms ranging from F1,F2 and F3 accounts.
- Plan, ideate, and publish engaging content tailored to each channel
- Work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to develop and implement strategies
- Oversee account administrators and ensure alignment with client goals
- Maintain high website traffic via social-led initiatives
- Support the execution of merchandise campaigns
- Create client briefs and strategy decks
- Capture and edit mobile-first content at client shoots and events
- Publish live coverage and narratives during race weekends
Candidate Profile
- 3+ years' experience in a social media role within a sports organisation or creative agency
- Demonstrated leadership qualities or experience managing a team
- Exceptionally organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Strong understanding of best practices across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, and LinkedIn
- Deep passion for sports, ideally Formula 1
- Client-facing experience and excellent communication skills
- Strong English copywriting ability — confident in both long and short-form content
- Experience promoting merchandise or products via social media
- Able to adapt brand tone of voice across various channels
- Available to cover a minimum of 20 race weekends per year (with time off in lieu)
- Based in London and able to work from East London office at least four days per week
- Eligible to live and work in the UK

- Proficient in social media scheduling and analytics tools
- Basic graphic design and video editing capabilities
- Strong project management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
