HR Advisor – 12 Month FTC

£60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic and prestigious environment? A leading US law firm based near Liverpool Street is seeking a proactive and approachable HR Advisor to join their collaborative London team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Role:

As the HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering a full generalist HR service to the firm’s London-based attorney population. Working closely with a friendly and supportive HR team, you will provide guidance and support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and professional HR experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from attorneys and staff
• Support on employee relations matters, including performance management and absence management
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
• Manage HR administration and maintain accurate employee records
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, including wellbeing, diversity & inclusion, and engagement
• Work closely with the wider global HR team to ensure consistency and alignment

About You:

• Solid generalist HR experience within a professional services environment (law firm experience preferred)
• Confident, personable, and able to build strong working relationships at all levels
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
• Able to work independently and use initiative in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
• CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable
