Disassembly Technician

Duration: Permanent

Location: Hayes, London

Salary: Up to 30,807 + Shift (Negotiable)

Pattern: Shifts/Flexible Hours including weekend overtime

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble client customer aircraft components in accordance with manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
• Mitigate additional damage and communicate required improvements to tooling and processes.
• Work to strict deadlines.
• Uphold company standards.
• Awareness and understanding of client computer-based MOE (IQMove).
• Liaise and report to Team Leader if any damage occurs, allowing improvements to be investigated.
• Carry out missing and damaged inspections.
• Participate and contribute to team meetings.
• Report any issues or concerns to colleagues and managers.

Essential Skills, Knowledge And Experience:

• 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4/A-C or equivalent.
• A qualification in an engineering subject is desirable.
• Apprenticeship in mechanical assembly/disassembly is advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience of use of hand tools and PPE.
• Previous use of overhead cranes and forklifts is preferable.
• Previous experience in the Aerospace sector is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and prioritize safety and quality.
• Great teamwork and communication skills; reliable and trustworthy.
• Ability to work and remain indefinitely in the UK.
