DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a communications professional to drive international product PR for Kindle and Tablet products. This is a unique opportunity to own the international communications program for two of Amazon's most well-loved consumer tech brands.

As a PR Specialist for Kindle and Tablet, you will be responsible for supporting go-to-market (GTM) plans for device launches and supporting in-country PR Managers to generate local coverage. You'll be expected to develop messaging, execute successful launch milestones, build and sustain strong relationships, and scale programs to reach a global, diverse audience.

In this role, you'll partner closely with business, product, sales, and marketing teams to drive the overall device launch process. You must demonstrate excellent judgment, earn trust with various internal stakeholders, and be willing to dive deep into complex topics. You must also be able to clearly articulate ideas in both written and verbal communications, anticipate potential issues and headwinds, find ways to simplify and streamline work, and effectively advocate for decisions that protect the long-term interests of Amazon and its customers.

  3. Manage engagement with key media, analysts, and influencers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Experience in professional communications or public relations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Experience with end-to-end product communications (announcements, launches, reviews, etc.)
  • Experience in developing successful campaign strategies for major brands
  • Strong understanding of international media landscapes and local PR needs
