The strategy team is made up of a mixture of integrated communications strategists and deep specialist disciplines including data, social and experience design.

Organic growth of existing accounts has given us the opportunity to augment the department.

The opportunity

We are looking for an integrated strategist /senior strategist with experience working with healthcare brands.

You will support the strategy for a breadth of health clients, including Alcon and Bayer, for whom we develop launch campaigns and creative assets for multiple product sectors.

The role will cover both B2C and B2B audiences.

You will have experience working with multiple stakeholders of large corporations and an ability to understand and distil their precise needs and priorities. You will be able to translate this understanding into clear direction for creative execution.

How you'd spend your day

As a Strategist / Senior Strategist you will sit at the heart of the Iris client team, working closely with Client Service and Creative Directors.

The majority of your role will require you to work as an autonomous strategist, with support from a Strategy Director and Junior Strategist where applicable.

The fundamental requirement is to influence the full strategic process from briefing, research and idea development to creative execution.

You will work closely with creative teams, strategists from specific disciplines (data, social, etc.), creative technologists, specialist content creators and digital experience designers.

You will commission and conduct research where necessary and interrogate and analyse platform and market data to set KPIs, assess effectiveness and drive performance.

What we're looking for:

  • Reporting to a Strategy Director you’ll drive the strategy agenda within your account teams and provide guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.
  • You’ll be keen to make your mark and want to contribute to the broader profile of strategy in the agency – both internally and externally – contributing to team meetings, agency thought leadership, IP and events.
  • You’ll be keen to get involved in the New Business opportunities, either in support of our Strategy leadership, or leading smaller pitches with guidance from them.
  • A team-focused self starter, you’ll enjoy getting stuck in and possess a degree of pragmatism and practicality which is an inevitable requirement of a truly integrated agency.
