Job Description

The Role:

Marketing Coordinator Global Partner Solutions (GPS) plans, sets-up and executes Microsoft's demand generation and engagement activities, like events, and e-mail and content marketing.

In this role MC GPS acts primarily as a single point of contact for marketing execution and a project manager who co-ordinates internal WT resources, Microsoft stakeholders, Microsoft partners and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:

Events planning & Set-up:

  1. Schedule and set in-person, virtual, and hybrid events requested by Microsoft partners
  2. Provide support on different types of events in line with Microsoft corporate guidelines
  3. Provide consultation on Event Platforms & internal event management tools to internal and external stakeholders
  4. Co-ordinate event preparation with venue providers (Microsoft or other), catering companies, and other vendors in case of on-site events, incl. management of their cost in-line with the Agreement signed with Microsoft partner requesting the event
  5. Open, initiate and manage Purchase Orders for each event
  6. Manage Partner CRM entries

Execution, Communication & Project Management:

  1. Act as Project Manager with full responsibility for activity execution and its results (L3)
  2. Co-ordinate event execution with all parties involved in an activity
  3. Co-ordinate communications related to the event – before, during and after the event: regional blogs, partner stories, event comms

Data & Insights:

  1. Collect, interpret and report results of activities; make recommendations to Microsoft stakeholders on improvements
  2. Ensure all business leads are properly registered
  3. Validate all customer journey data flow

Subject Matter Expertise & Stakeholder Management:

  1. Advise stakeholders on overall activities execution processes, KPIs, deployment of tools and services
  2. Acts as an advisor on commercial marketing tools and services

Required skills & competencies (Entry Level: L2):

  1. Ideally, 2+ years experience in the execution of any marketing-related initiatives, including. 1+ year experience in events management, project or account management role
  2. High level of compliance with company rules & processes, e. g., personal data protection or brand guidelines
  3. Proven project management skills & experience, readiness to assume responsibility for own KPIs, track activities progress and meet critical deadlines
  4. Solid skills in Microsoft tools and software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  5. Solid command skills and ability to share often complex information in a structured way
  6. Comfort in dealing with clients and third-party stakeholders
  7. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple events and activities, and ability to prioritize urgent and important tasks
  8. A strong team player with ability to establish working relations with culturally diverse internal and external partners
  9. Strong in problem-solving skills and orientation to detail
  10. Fluent English is essential (requirement for additional language skills may apply)
