Job Description

Frazer Jones is delighted to be supporting a leading Private Equity firm committed to driving business growth and value creation through strategic investments. Their dynamic and entrepreneurial team collaborates with portfolio companies to unlock their full potential.


The firm are looking to appoint their first HR Manager on a stand-alone basis, to support both the COO and Chief Talent Officer on a permanent basis. This role supports their people operations function and strategy, with clear development pathways and huge amounts of autonomy.


This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function, ensuring the effective execution of HR processes and initiatives. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape and implement HR strategies that align with the firm’s culture and objectives. Working independently, the ideal candidate will be a proactive, operational and strategic HR professional with experience in financial services or private equity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert HR guidance across the UK, Europe and India to senior leadership, ensuring a high-performance culture.
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and workplace culture.
  • Assist in conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling in compliance with company policies.
  • Support talent development initiatives, including training programs, coaching, and leadership development.
  • Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring market competitiveness.
  • Manage HR technology and data analytics, leveraging insights to drive decision-making.
  • Partner with the CTO and COO to support organisational growth and change management.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years proven experience in an HR role within financial services, ideally private equity, or boutique Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven expertise supporting various jurisdictions across Europe and Internationally.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and drive HR strategies independently.
  • Degree educated + CIPD Qualified.
