Role Purpose
Are you an experienced Marketing Manager with strong leadership qualities, experience of working at pace in large growth organisations and comfortable working across teams with varied skills, spotting marketing opportunities, efficiencies and improvements? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Howden UK & Ireland is currently evolving its UK&I marketing infrastructure, as well as launching a new Retail-wide marketing strategy, new processes, policies and consistent ways of working. We are looking for an exceptional communicator to join the team to work with the Retail Marketing Director for the UK and Ireland to help us through this transition and embed the new strategies before handing over to a BAU team. You will need to be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual, with excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills with experience working on multiple projects, as you’ll be leading campaigns and projects to agreed timings. You’ll also need to have the ability to work quickly, efficiently and methodically within a fast-paced, changing, environment. The opportunity sits within Howden UK and Ireland, which has over seventy entities that have recently merged into one, and c.5000 colleagues in 200+ locations. This is a diverse and exciting role, and the successful candidate will demonstrate strategic capabilities alongside a willingness to roll their sleeves up to support delivery. The position is available for a 12-month fixed term contract and does not require regular office presence if not preferred. However, occasional travel to our HQ in the City of London or other regional locations will be expected to cultivate positive relationships with collaborators.
