Your new company
You will be joining a well established SME based close to Guildford, Surrey. The company is one of the strongest in their field, and they seek an experienced finance leader to oversee day to day accounting activities and to manage the close-knit accounts team.
Your new role
This key role based in the Guildford office will see you take responsibility of looking after the finances for the company on a day-to-day basis, partnering closely with the Directors. You will lead on the ownership and delivery of month end management accounts. In addition, you will be leading, supporting and developing a team of accounts assistants who look after sales/purchase ledger and support with statutory and month end activities. Outside of the monthly cycle, you will have an opportunity to drive process improvement and support commercial decision-making.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your finance qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) you should have strong experience in managing all areas of accounts within SME. Being hands-on is essential alongside leading the finance team. Most importantly is a positive and “can do” approach!
