We are seeking a talented and driven strategic Growth Manager (Media Planner) to join our growing agency client. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between our clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution of media campaigns from planning to post-campaign analysis. You will play a key role in managing client relationships, delivering on campaign objectives, and identifying opportunities for account growth. You will focus on developing trusted partnerships with clients while collaborating with our media planning and buying teams to deliver exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. Understand their business goals, challenges, and media objectives.
  • Campaign Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the media planning and buying teams to develop and execute integrated media strategies across multiple channels. Ensure campaigns align with client objectives and target audience needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of media campaigns, including planning, execution, monitoring, optimisation, and reporting. Ensure that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide clients with regular updates on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimise media strategies. Prepare comprehensive post-campaign reports with key performance metrics, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (media planners, buyers, creative, and analytics) to ensure smooth communication and campaign execution. Act as a liaison to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage campaign budgets, ensuring that spends are on track and delivering ROI.
  • Business Development & Upselling: Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and propose additional services or media solutions that align with clients' growth objectives.
  • Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, new media channels, and innovations in media buying and planning. Leverage this knowledge to provide clients with innovative solutions and competitive advantages.


Experience

  • 3/4 + years of experience in strategic account management (desirable experience would be within a media buying, media planning, or advertising agency).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of media channels, including TV, digital, social, OOH, and programmatic media. Knowledge of media planning and buying tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, DSPs) is a plus.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering results.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret and analyze data to make informed campaign decisions. Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively resolve issues to keep campaigns running smoothly.
  • Team Player: A collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
