Join Crayon UK as our Legal Assistant, where you will work closely with Crayon's internal legal team to assist the company in navigating legal issues and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. You will also collaborate with our Sales, Finance, Marketing, Compliance and HR Teams, as well as our local and regional legal resources, who are spread out across several regions and time zones globally.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with both the internal team and external partners on various tasks, including due diligence, contract drafting and review, and legal research.
- Arrange for documentation to be signed by internal and external parties and manage, control, and maintain the contractual document library pertaining to customer and vendor contracts, to ensure we are compliant and that all contracts meet the legislated requirements of the UK business.
- Conduct a thorough review and maintain an updated list of existing customer and partner contracts, ensuring all necessary updates are made promptly.
- Review existing contractual templates and recommend amendments as necessary to ensure compliance with current legislation and to ensure that vendor terms are appropriately reflected in customer agreements.
- Performing additional administrative responsibilities within the legal team, including corporate and regulatory filings.
Your Competencies:
- Bachelor of Laws or equivalent (or currently enrolled in a bachelors program nearing completion).
- Knowledge in commercial and corporate law principles and terminology
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (especially Word) and Adobe Acrobat
