QA Contractor – Energy / Commodities – C#, SpecFlow, SQL, Data Flow & Data Mapping


Oliver Bernard are currently working with an established Energy / Commodities company who are looking for an established QA contractor with extensive experience working in the Energy, Commodities and / or Trading space.


Having grown organically over the past 2-3 years, our client are now in a real growth phase and with Quality Engineering at the heart of everything they do. They're now about to go through a brand new implementation programme, looking to expand the team by adding a contractor that can help drive their Testing across Trading platforms (which are specifically utilised by their Risk and Exposure teams).


To be considered for this opening, you must have the following experience:


  • History of working in the Energy sector (with direct testing experience on Energy or Commodities platforms)
  • Strong Technical QA background, ideally with Automation experience (C#, SpecFlow and Azure DevOps)
  • History of working in Data driven environments (SQL), and experience of Data Flow & Mapping Testing
  • Previous experience across API Testing and CI/CD is a big bonus


This role can offer £550-650 p/day, outside IR35 for 6 months, and operates a hybrid working model (2 office days per week in London).
