Purpose of the Role:
The Brand Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Moss’ brand strategy across our retail and digital channels. You will be responsible for driving brand awareness, shifting perceptions and delivering cohesive campaigns that resonate with our audience. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent brand presence across all touchpoints. You’ll have a thorough understanding and passion for marketing, experience across a variety of channels, strong commercial acumen and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management: day-day management of seasonal planning and key campaigns, motivating and influencing team members to support the delivery of our strategy
- Campaign management: support wider departments with seasonal resources, ensuring all marketing efforts reflect the brand’s values, vision and voice. As well as assist in the execution and evaluation of key campaigns
- Retail and ecommerce application: help drive growth across stores and ecommerce by utilising customer data and navigating channel nuances
- Content planning: support the editorial team and channel owners to bring to life key brand stories across channels
- Process management: identify ways to improve transparency and efficiency across teams
- Competitor analysis and trend monitoring: stay closely informed about competitor activities and industry trends, sharing relevant insights with the team. Identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation based on these insights
- Asset management: work closely with the photography team and channel owners to ensure we have the right assets at the right time
- Drive weekly reactive comms: work closely with merch and channel owners to react accordingly to changes in trade or cultural moments
- PR support: facilitate the roll-out of planned press activity, including but not limited to brand partnerships, press releases, asset distribution and press events
- Relationship management: strengthen day-to-day relationships with our external network including consultants and agencies
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Technical:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Marketing experience across ecommerce and stores, preferably in the retail sector
- Experience working on national and localised campaigns
- Experience managing media and/or PR agencies
- Experience copywriting and writing design briefs
- Evidence of developing creative ideas and working with content/channel leads
- Evidence of analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources
