Transport Supervisor – Nights

Recruiting for the Transport Supervisor Nights role at Evri in Belfast. The purpose of this role is to support the Transport and Compliance Managers on the Night Shift and help with transport operational running of the site. You will help the Transport Manager on shift and be responsible for ensuring drivers are dispatched timely, briefed and debriefed effectively, and maintain safety and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that every worker is fully compliant with legislative requirements.
• Brief and debrief drivers to ensure that all instructions for their allocated runs are understood and actioned.
• Review driver daily check‑sheets with the drivers, ensuring that vehicles are road‑worthy, defects are raised, and accidents/damage reported daily.
• Ensure all new drivers (FTE, Agency) are licensed, checked, assessed and inducted prior to first shift.
• Download information from digital tachographs at the start and end of each shift.
• Manage and monitor vehicle maintenance and service planner, and VOR to ensure vehicles are fit for the road.
• Undertake H&S tasks such as yard walks and vehicle checks.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience collating reports on driver information, including digital tachographs, Health & Safety for site and drivers.
• Experience of route optimisation and problem solving (useful).
• Experience with TMS systems such as Isotrak, Tachomaster, Ortec or equivalent.
• Fully PC literate; comfortable with Windows and MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Shift Details

Shift is night‑based; core hours 22:00 pm to 08:00 am, with variations depending on volumes.
