Job Title: Sales Development Representative (AP Software)

Location: Hybrid, London (3 days a week)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 base with an additional £15,000 - £20,000 OTE

About the Role:


Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their growing sales team. The SDR will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, engaging with potential customers, and supporting the wider sales team to drive revenue growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to start or further their career in sales with a leading player in the financial technology sector.



Sales Development Representative (AP Software) - Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Research and target potential customers across various industries to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective outreach strategies.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the senior sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets and key performance metrics.
  • Continuously learn and stay informed about the company's products, services, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and feedback loops to develop sales skills and knowledge.




Sales Development Representative (AP Software) Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally within the SaaS or technology sector focused on Finance or Accounting solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with prospects over the phone, email, and social media.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for achieving targets and driving growth.
  • Experience using CRM software and sales tools is an advantage but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
