Marketing Coordinator

Location: Oxford (On site working required)

We are working with an Oxford-based medical device start-up, who are transforming radiology by bringing to market a new accessible & low-dose medical imaging device. The vision is to create more affordable, widely available & truly portable devices for clinics and hospitals across the world. Creating value for patients, physicians and payers will be critical and the aim is to allow more accurate diagnosis at point-of-care, reducing the need to move patients or to refer to further 3D imaging.


We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join this growing team.

Working within the Business Development department, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Marketing with the promotional activities of the business across medical and non-medical markets. You will be joining at an exciting time, and you will have the opportunity to build brand awareness of the unique game-changing technology across our three market verticals.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for and an interest in marketing. Previous experience of working in a sales and marketing environment will be required, but formal qualifications in marketing are not essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out day to day responsibilities as directed by the Head of Marketing in support of the Marketing function
  • Coordination and logistical planning of agreed trade shows and conferences (national and international)
  • Attendance at trade shows and conferences where required
  • Lead validation and handover to sales (via CRM)
  • CRM administration
  • Managing marketing collateral for global distribution partners
  • Liaising with and support for the sales team
  • Working with internal departments to ensure that documentation is collated to support marketing activities
  • Producing marketing reports for internal stakeholders
  • Producing communications for external use (social media, PR etc.)


Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven track record of providing administrative support in a fast-paced, commercial setting
  • Experience of successfully managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of working in a sales or marketing environment
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce/Hubspot or other CRM tool would be advantageous
  • Prioritises own workload to meet deadlines and see tasks through to their successful completion
  • Ability to develop and manage strong and effective relationships with multiple internal/external stakeholders with potentially conflicting objectives and viewpoints
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and environments
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems. Training on marketing-specific IT systems will be provided.
