Salary: £85 to £96.72 per day

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team within vibrant primary schools in Didcot, Oxfordshire. This role offers a diverse and rewarding experience, working both on a general basis and providing essential support for children with special educational needs.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment within our primary schools. Your responsibilities will include providing general support in the classroom, as well as offering targeted assistance to children with special educational needs on a 1-2-1 basis. This dual role provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of a diverse range of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the class teacher to create an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere.
\n
• Provide one-on-one support to children with special educational needs, tailoring assistance to individual requirements.
\n
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
\n
• Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.
\n

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
\n
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
\n
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the classroom and individual students.
\n
• An understanding of special educational needs and the ability to provide targeted support.
\n
