Senior Event Marketing Manager

Guildford (Hybrid)

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and strategically driven marketer to join a multi-award-winning business and take ownership of a rapidly growing portfolio. If you’ve got proven experience in delivering B2B and B2C marketing campaigns for UK-based events and are ready to step into a senior role with more autonomy, this could be the perfect next move.

You’ll be leading marketing activity for a high-potential new division within the animal health sector, helping shape the long-term growth of a brand-new portfolio. You’ll be responsible for building marketing plans, executing integrated campaigns, managing budgets, and driving both audience acquisition and exhibitor engagement. You’ll also lead a small, talented team while working closely with colleagues across content, sales, and operations to deliver cohesive, impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the full marketing strategy, driving both B2B and B2C event growth
• Plan and execute integrated multi-channel campaigns across digital, print, social, PR, and partnerships
• Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximise ROI and campaign performance
• Mentor and lead a small team, supporting their development and output
• Analyse campaign data to optimise performance and align activity with commercial goals

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in launching and managing successful B2B and B2C event campaigns in the UK
• Strong strategic planning skills combined with hands-on campaign delivery expertise
• Confident team leader with experience managing and mentoring direct reports
• Creative, proactive and commercially focused mindset with an entrepreneurial edge
• Experience working across multiple marketing channels with strong data and reporting skills
• Background in the animal health, veterinary, or life sciences sectors is a plus, but not essential
