Our client based in Sparkford is looking for an Electronic Hardware Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be required to attend their office 2 days per week and the rest can be work from home. The Role As an Electronic Hardware Engineer , you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and testing advanced electronic systems. You’ll work across the full product lifecycle — from concept and design to production and ongoing support — collaborating closely with other hardware and systems engineers to turn requirements into high-performance, reliable hardware. Key Responsibilities: Design and schematic capture of analogue and digital hardware PCB layout for complex multi-layer boards Test and fault-finding of electronic hardware Firmware and FPGA design Development of test processes, equipment, and validation systems Through-life support, maintenance, and obsolescence management Documentation and design verification About You You’ll be an engineer with a passion for electronic design, curious about adjacent engineering disciplines, and eager to grow your expertise in a supportive environment.
