Mechanical Engineering Lecturer – PLC/Automation Specialist

Huddersfield | Full Time, Permanent | Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum | Level 3 / T Level Learners

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver engaging and industry-relevant lessons to Level 3 and T Level students
• Bring your real-world experience in PLC/Automation into the classroom
• Design and assess practical and theoretical engineering modules
• Support learners’ progress and contribute to their career readiness
• Collaborate with a passionate teaching team to maintain high standards

What We’re Looking For

• Significant experience in PLC/Automation Engineering (industrial or academic)
• Recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering (minimum Level 4 or above)
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• A passion for education and a student-focused approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
