Legal Counsel (Commercial)

Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a Retail organisation based in Yorkshire with a Legal Counsel position permanently.

As the Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for:

• Undertaking a range of commercial contracts with a focus on B2C contracts, IT Contracts (SAAS), NDAs, standard terms, and manufacturing agreements.
• Assisting the procurement team with queries and contract terms and termination.
• Assisting with drafting and implementing policies and procedures and ensuring contracts are kept up to date, streamlining processes where required.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements for the business.
• Assisting with consumer claims as and when required.
• Handling Data Protection matters.

As the Legal Counsel, you will have:

• Experience working within the Retail sector or for retail clients in private practice; experience working with IT Contracts and consumer law would also be advantageous in an in-house setting.
• The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across the Group and have an ambition for growth within the group.
• An interest in AI or experience working with AI would also be advantageous.
