Overview

HR Coordinator – Competitive Salary – Winsford

We are seeking an experienced and practiced HR Coordinator to join our People Team at SRL.

As HR Coordinator, you will report to the HR Business Partner and play a key role in supporting the team on a variety of essential tasks aimed at ensuring smooth and effective people operations within the company.

Responsibilities

  • People Operations Support: Provide administrative and transactional support across people operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations; maintain people systems, databases and records.
  • Training & Development: Cooperate with internal training teams on scheduling training and inductions for the teams.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Cooperate with benefits and payroll team to ensure smooth payroll across the business each month.
  • Recruitment: Assist with recruitment team in job vacancies, screening candidates, scheduling interviews; manage preparation of employment contracts and other relevant documentation for new employees.
  • HR Projects: Support various people and data‑led initiatives to drive company success.

Person Specification

  • Strong administrative experience within a people operation team.
  • Strong knowledge of human resource practices, including some experience in employee relations.
  • Previous experience in a HR team, ideally within a construction or traffic management environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently and confidentially at all levels.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, employment law and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR software systems.
  • A proactive and solution‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.

Qualifications

  • A relevant HR qualification (CIPD Level 3 or equivalent) or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
