Job Description

Hours:40hours per week, Monday to Sunday.

Location:Hamble Heights Care Home, Southampton, SO31 1AZ

At Hamble HeightsWeare looking for aHospitality Managerto join our friendly Nursing Home team.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and homely environment for our residents. Working in all areas of the home from bedrooms and bathrooms to lounges and dining rooms, the tasks you carry out will ensure everyone can enjoy a clean, tidy and welcoming environment. This means you’ll have a direct impact on our residents, their visitors and all the staff working to support them. You will be managing the housekeeping team and producing rotas to ensure that tasks are completed. You will also be expected to supportour catering team to ensure a smooth delivery of our dining experience.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working as a Housekeeper or Cleaner
  • Experience of managing a team and rota production
  • Caring, and compassionate nature
  • The desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others
  • Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Experiencewith budgets and ordering
  • Ongoing training and development
