Senior Graphic Designer

Branding / Print / Digital

Full time, Norwich, UK

£34,000 – £38,000 DOE

Hybrid - 4 days in studio in Norwich - Thursdays from home.

20 days holiday P/A (plus bank holidays) with 1 additional day for every full year of employment

Outthought is seeking a senior graphic designer with 7+ years of experience to join our small but perfectly formed creative team in Norwich. We’re looking for a creative problem-solver with excellent conceptual abilities and the craft skills to realise their brilliant ideas who can take projects from brief to completion. The successful candidate will be a great communicator (verbal, visual, and written), a team player, and a strategic thinker who is comfortable in client-facing situations.

We are a graphic design and branding agency based in Norwich with a rapidly growing national client base across a range of industries, including property, leisure, financial, Industrial, B2B, third sector, retail, entertainment, and recruitment. Our team has a strong track record in the UK design industry with ambitions to position Outthought as a premier boutique creative agency with a national and international client base.

Developing an in-depth understanding of client needs is central to our approach. Our success comes from going beyond the brief to ensure that outcomes communicate effectively, look good, feel right, and solve problems.

You must have the right to work in the UK

You must be able to either realistically commute to Norwich daily or be willing to relocate to make this possible

7+ years of experience, ideally in an agency setting

An extensive portfolio of work across graphic design, branding, typography, print, and digital for a range of clients

The ability to articulate your work with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight, both internally and with clients

In-depth understanding of print and production processes

Outstanding practical skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software

Comfortable leading the creative direction of projects, bringing inspiration and clarity to the process, while encouraging originality and excellence within the team

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and maintain creative excellence throughout

A keen eye on industry trends, embracing new tools and techniques to enhance creative output

A willingness to engage with the potential of Ai in design

Solid typographic skills, both aesthetic and technical aspects - including working with paragraph, character, object and table styles

The ability to art-direct photo and video shoots and brief third-party service suppliers

Impeccable attention to detail

Experience in design and branding for large-scale property developments

After Effects and brand animation experience

An understanding of design for social media platforms

UX experience
