What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and improve manufacturing documentation, tooling instructions, and inspection processes to keep production running smoothly.
- Lead cross-functional projects that boost efficiency, quality, and reliability on the shop floor.
- Use data, analysis, and lean techniques to uncover opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Explore new methods, automation technologies, and smarter layouts to enhance performance.
- Support maintenance and tooling teams to ensure equipment is ready and reliable.
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Measure and report performance metrics, helping turn insights into tangible results.
What You’ll Bring
- HND (or higher) in a mechanical or manufacturing discipline, plus strong CAD skills (SolidWorks experience a bonus).
- Manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in aerospace or precision engineering.
- A proven track record of delivering improvement projects that make a measurable difference.
- Strong understanding of Lean tools such as DMAIC, 5 Whys, and 8D.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with people across all levels and departments.
- Skilled in ERP/MRP systems, data analysis, and technical documentation.
- Analytical, curious, and driven by results – someone who takes ownership and follows through.
