Energy & Utilities Lead Sector Architect London or UK-wide Hybrid Up to £115,000 Package We’re looking for a forward-thinking Energy & Utilities Lead Architect to shape and deliver the next generation of transformation across the UK’s energy landscape. From grid modernisation and decarbonisation to digital operations and smart data platforms — you’ll lead from the front, helping major players navigate the transition to a more sustainable, technology-driven future. ⚡ What you’ll be doing Lead the architecture strategy for major Energy & Utilities transformation programmes. Shape digital, data, and cloud-enabled roadmaps that support operational efficiency, ESG goals, and regulatory compliance. Partner with senior client stakeholders — from CIOs to operational directors — to align technology strategy with business outcomes. Oversee architecture design and delivery, ensuring coherence and quality through complex transformation lifecycles. Foster innovation in Cloud, Data, and AI to accelerate sector-specific solutions. Experience required 10 years’ experience in solution or enterprise architecture within the Energy or Utilities sector. Proven track record delivering large-scale, tech-enabled transformation (e.g. grid, retail, ESG, smart metering, or asset management). Understanding of UK energy regulation and market reform (Ofgem, Net Zero targets, ESG). Strong background in architecture governance, stakeholder engagement, and agile delivery models.
