Overview

Legal Officer – Derby City Council

Location: The Council House, Derby

Hours: 29 hours 36 minutes per week (4 days) | Contract: Permanent | Part-time

Salary: £37,280-£39,862 per year

Responsibilities

  • Hold your own caseload within the busy legal team, with a focus on Adult Social Care
  • Assist the team with their caseload as required
  • Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice and communicate effectively under pressure

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a legal office
  • Reasonable knowledge of adult social care law
  • Enthusiastic, with good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and use initiative
