Our client is on the hunt for a talented AI Engineer to bring cutting-edge machine learning and NLP solutions to life in the UK healthcare sector. This role is hands-on and dynamic — perfect for someone who enjoys building AI systems that are production-ready, scalable, and ethical.

What You’ll Work On

• Craft machine learning and NLP models that solve real-world healthcare challenges.
• Build end-to-end pipelines, from raw data handling to model deployment.
• Connect AI models to backend systems and user interfaces for seamless operation.
• Monitor and evaluate models, tackling bias and improving explainability.
• Deploy AI solutions using cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Python.
• Optimise performance, reduce latency, and implement best-practice CI/CD workflows.
• Document processes, architectures, and results for regulatory and internal review.
• Experience in AI, ML, or Data Science roles with hands-on model development.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
• Knowledge of NLP, generative AI, or predictive analytics workflows.
• Exposure to MLOps tools such as MLflow, DVC, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience deploying models to cloud environments (AWS preferred: Lambda, SageMaker, ECS, S3, RDS).
• Understanding of ethical AI, model transparency, bias mitigation, and data privacy.
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
