Overview

Finance Graduate - Rotational Graduate Programme 2026

Join to apply for the Finance Graduate - Rotational Graduate Programme 2026 role at Boeing. Starting in September 2026, the two-year scheme will see successful applicants undertake four six-month placements across a number of key disciplines in different UK locations. The scheme provides exposure to a diverse range of areas fundamental to understanding successful Finance roles within Boeing, with learning in the workplace, live projects, cross-team collaboration, and support from the Career Starter Team.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with all areas of the Finance functions across the company during rotations.
  • Work on live projects across multiple teams and locations, supported by theoretical learning.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to gain practical experience in accounting, commercial, financial operations, and financial planning and analysis.

Rotations may involve working in the following areas:

  • Accounting: Manage financial compliance and statutory reporting for UK and Ireland entities; tasks include internal & external audits support, month-end activities including journal preparation, posting and control, group reporting, reconciliation preparation and improvement, and issues management with metrics reporting.
  • Commercial: Manage contractual relationships from tender through negotiations, estimating, pricing, contract award and ongoing management; tasks include creation and execution of Proposal Plans, negotiation of contract terms, and acting as the point of contact for customers.
  • Financial Operations (Fin Ops): Manage financial performance reporting, estimating and forecasting costs to complete on long-term contracts, and risk/opportunity management with program managers; tasks include supporting control account managers and providing FP&A inputs for monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and EAC inputs.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Manage consolidated monthly, quarterly, annual forecasting and long-range planning; oversee overhead cost tracking and provide group reporting inputs; collaborate with Business Development/Strategy and PMs during LRBP processes.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Degree-level qualification in Accounting and Finance or similar (no minimum grade/GPA requirement stated).
  • Confidence in presenting and hosting meetings; strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Forward-thinking, self-motivated, with effective communication and attention to detail.
  • Inclusive, enthusiastic, and proficient in data manipulation and MS Excel.
  • Willingness to be flexible and work across locations.

Additional Requirements

  • The successful candidate will be expected to undergo an Intrusive Security Clearance Process, which requires 5 years of uninterrupted UK residency prior to applying.

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a BPSS clearance.
