What you’ll be doing

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technologist to become part of our expanding Architectural team at ESA Architecture. You will be required to realise preliminary designs into a buildable solution involving all aspects of Architectural delivery and coordinating detailed information across all disciplines and providing a first point of contact to the site delivery team. There will also be a requirement to address package procurement and programming in accordance with design deliverables, responding to technical queries, reviewing sub-contractor information, attending and leading Design Team and Coordination Meetings, supporting the Contractor during the build and liaising with management on a monthly basis reporting on the status of the project.

What you’ll be doing (continued)

  • Provide technical design support to project teams and deliver successful projects in accordance with client requirements.
  • Lead the team, work flexibly and independently as required, and manage your time efficiently.
  • Manage and supervise technical project teams, together with Client and Contractor liaison.
  • Organise and co-ordinate Design Teams and sub-contractors.
  • Execute day-to-day delivery tasks across all project stages, including production of design deliverables, providing accurate technical information, addressing technical queries, site inspections, condition surveys, monitoring delivery, and proposing design changes that may impact fees or schedule.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate

  • HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology or other recognized equivalents.
  • Eligible member of an appropriate professional institution (MCIAT or recognized equivalent).
  • Understanding of Building Regulations and relevant Technical design guidance.
  • REVIT and Navisworks to achieve project delivery to Level 2 BIM.
  • Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).
