Job Description

An established private healthcare group is opening a brand-new fertility clinic in Belfast, and they are seeking a Medical Director to lead and grow the new service.


Key Requirements

  • Provide clinical leadership for the new Belfast clinic.
  • Oversee all medical aspects of patient care, working closely with a highly skilled nursing and embryology team.
  • Ensure compliance with UK (HFEA) regulations and clinical governance standards.
  • Contribute to patient pathways designed to maximise efficiency and high cycle volumes.
  • Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and the Group Medical Director.

Candidate Requirements

  • GMC registration (specialist registration in Obstetrics & Gynaecology desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in assisted reproduction and fertility medicine.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Candidates from the UK, Ireland, and internationally are welcome, provided GMC registration is in progress.
