About this opportunity

We are looking for a hardworking and passionate Graphic Designer and Artworker to join our Creative Studio for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract within the Group Corporate Affairs (GCA) division at Lloyds Banking Group. If you have a flair for design, curiosity about creativity, enjoy being part of a growing team and want to make an impact, we want to hear from you.

As a Graphic Designer, you\'ll work closely with our Production Manager, Creative Lead and other creatives to bring our corporate brand to life and showcase how we\'re making a positive impact for colleagues, customers and communities. You\'ll craft infographics, design templates for social media, and create exhibition banners for internal events, ensuring brand consistency and quality across platforms. There will be opportunities to sharpen your skills and grow with the team.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the team to bring creative ideas to life, ensuring they are on-brand and meet the brief\'s objectives
  • Adopt a social-first approach, designing for multiple channels from concept to launch and monitoring content performance
  • Balance creative concepting with art-working assets for various channels and platforms
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and articulate the rationale behind your creative decisions
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, including AI, and continuously improve skills individually and as part of the team

What you\'ll need

  • Experience in a fast-paced creative environment (agency or in-house)
  • Proficiency in visual design, art-working, typography, digital design and branding
  • Adobe Creative Suite expertise (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); PowerPoint; interest in AI tools to improve speed and efficiency; After Effects and Figma are a plus
  • Understanding of channel types and formats; quick learner of digital systems (e.g., SharePoint Online, social media, web formats)
  • Strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and high standards of spelling and grammar
  • Impressive portfolio demonstrating brand work
