Overview

Vehicle Technical Support Specialist role at Arval BNP Paribas Group. Location: Swindon, Birmingham or Manchester – Hybrid.

About The Role

We lease over 180,000 vehicles in the UK that require maintenance, servicing and repair. Your main focus will be to minimise vehicle downtime, provide technical support to internal and external customers, manage technical complaints, and support the wider Fleet Services teams.

Responsibilities

  • Authorise work requests via the 1Link system.
  • Challenge suppliers and suggest cost-effective alternatives.
  • Maintain relationships with internal customers, drivers and garages.
  • Update systems and databases as required.

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will be a qualified motor vehicle technician with NVQ level 2/3 (or equivalent) and knowledge of the 1Link system. LCV experience is a plus.

Skills & Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially on the phone.
  • Proven customer service skills with ability to build relationships quickly and challenge garage decisions.
  • Impressive communication skills, and an efficient, accurate working style.
  • Team player with a customer-focused approach.

Basic starting salary up to £29,000, plus bonus up to £1,100. 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), an extra day off for birthday, and the option to purchase up to 5 additional days. Comprehensive benefits include:
